Just want to let everyone know that on a 1982 KZ 750 Twin CSR M1 even with only 7,000 miles things can brake, and my luck is such. I was replaceing the stock foam handlebar grips with some sharp new crome "buffalo grips". the throttle assembly and throttle grip broke I guess the plastic was old and brittle. I was able to still order these items from the Kawasaki dealership $150.00. On the plus my assembly will not be faded anymore goinh to order the left next month so they look the same. Still riding until yesterday when this happened 50 mpg riding to work love the savings in gas even with the repairs

Are there no bike wreckers near you? Some will ship UPS. They usually charge 50% of list if in good shape. Used/used parts usually color match closer than new/used. Should still be a savings over OEM. E-Bay, Bike Bandit and other internet are options too over dealerships.
