BRAKE LIGHT OUTAGE UNIT was created by z1kzonly
Hi I have 2 brake light outage indicators!
They both have different readings with the multi-tester.
The manual does not have a check!
They are Koito Part # 352-71713.
Have the black, green and yellow wires.
They are longer than the 76 KZ900 model
Any info???????

Marty, Not sure what part you are referring to... are you asking about the little gray plastic box that sits above you valve cover and is tied to the harness up between the frame rails?

Readings on the multitester will vary on that device. They are not all the same and because they use solid-state devices, even units that are identical can have different ohm readings. You really just have to try them out.
