Color large format wiring diagrams for $15

Just ordered one of these prior to fabbing up my own from scratch wiring harness for my 81 KZthou CSR.

Bought 10 colors of 30' each automotive grade 16awg wire today. Found a local supply shop with bulk fuel proof molex connector from 2x2 to 15x15 pins. They've got a full ratchet crimpers specifically for them as well. Will definately bring all of my (meger) electronics skills to a head...

I would like to know just how detailed and accurate they are. 'Don't know yet, how good my Clymer manual schematics will prove to be, as I have only just started working on the bike, and it does not have any electrical issues at this point; not that I know of anyway.

Well after ordering I found a full color 300dpi wiring diagram for my CSR in the 'filebase' section of this website.

I took it to OfficeMax and had it printed on a 24x36 sheet and laminated for cheap like $10 and it is HUGE! It matches my Clymer perfectly except it is in color thank god!

I've just sent an email to the guy I bought it from asking for a refund. If he refunds me, I wouldn't hesitate to order from him again for another project on a another bike I'm looking at, it's a great idea really, too bad I didn't find the 'filebase' here first.

I'll let you know if he refunds, that should speak volumes.

If Anyone's interested,I have a color diagram for the 75-76 KZ900,and a lot of it does apply to the 1000's.

sheik--I'm curious to know how that wiring project goes. I've got the same bike and it's got charging troubles and wacked out turn signals--the wiring looks pretty rough so I was thinking of replacing it, see if that solves the problems. You had any luck?
