Tach question... was created by kawabunga500
How difficult would it be to install a tachometer on my bike? I'd like to get one (not that I need help in shifting...) but because I'd like to know what I'm idling at. I'm going by ear power right now, and the revs sound a bit high.
If anyone knows of any links, or could just type up a quick how-to, I would be very appreciative.
Thanks!

Believe local auto supply may offer tool for testing rpm. Some timing lights have a built in rpm indicator.
Expect to soon be able to "hear" and recognize the desired idle rpm.
