Who has experience with running heated jackets/pants on their 1976 KZ 900 and/or 1980 KZ 1000's?
I don't know what the current draw is on this stuff but am wondering if anyone who has had problems doing so.
Will the alternator/battery support the load?
Thanks

Good question,Roy.
I'd like to hear some feedback on this as well.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

I did many of my long trips using heated chaps, gloves, vest on the 1979 KZ1000MKII and it never fazed it a bit. I don't know about the earlier 900 but the 1000s overcharged the battery and extra draw was probably a good thing.
