Its looking like i can get a used carb for around $200 or less, im sure the price would be way high if you had to pay someone to make a 1 into 4 intake. Seeing how i can do that myself, it looks as if i could possibly do this for around the same amount it would cost me to have someone get my stock carbs really dialed in.
I looked at some dyno graphs from another site using a 40mm CV carb on a V-Twin and it looks quite capable of handling 60-70 rear wheel hp on a 80 cube evo. I'd like to hear some feedback from people that have alot of experience with motorcycle carbs just to see what they think. I've got alot of experience with auto carbs, and seeing how a motor is pretty much a motor. It looks like a 40 mm carb should handle a 903 without a hitch. But then again, im new to motorcycle mechanics so i could be wrong...thus why im wanting a professional opinion before i commit. Thanks.
