Ok, thank you. I am not only new to this site, I am new to working on my own bike aside from basic maintenance.

I am having a hard time finding the jet size for the carb. CV36. I called Keihin, they don't have information since they don't make the CV anymore. I have found different sizes, but I have no idea which one it is. Any thoughts?

The number should be stamped on the jet, which of course means you'll have to take off the bowls and use a mirror and flashlight, a magnifying glass and maybe some pixie dust to see them. What size jets the carbs started life with is largely irrelevant now since you are running modified intake and exhaust. Trial and error is really the only way to get them right. First, however, all the routine maintenance stuff, like vale lash, need to be brought up to snuff. Getting the carbs properly sorted is basically the last thing to do.

Getting ready to throw it in the Rouge. Bike was idling VERY high on start up. As I would take the choke off (slowly), when it got about half-way off, it would die. Messed with the pilot screws, idle, sync screws and voila! Purring choke on or off. Forward to the next day. Started it up and it's doing the same thing as the day before. Any thoughts?
