Kawasaki intake manifold numbers 16065-1131 and 16065-1135 for the J-model 1000 and 1100 heads (corrected part numbers).
Thanks RandomKZ650 :)

Both fit the same bikes, so (other than number and price) what is different between them?

You mean 1135 and 1131 ? I think the difference is the carbs they are intended for

Or maybe it's the port size ? The cheaper ones don't work with the zx1100 which Im guessing had bigger ports

My bad, duh...
According to the Partzilla application charts, they both fit the 1982 KZ1100-A2 Shaft. However, the price for the 1135 is less-than half that of the 1131

Yes I saw that too and the cheaper ones don't work with the gpz 1100 head. I'm sure they would but they would have to be port matched. The gpz1100 was hand ported from factory. Get the cheaper ones and port match them if needed

My bike has a ZN1100 head (like the GPZ) on it, which supposedly received a mild port-job at the factory. I've been running the old 1135's removed from my J-head on it, and can't recall if there was a difference in the port sizes. The spec does call for the 1131's for that head, but I can't see it making much difference.

There you go, you know the mounting bolt spacing is the same. I would get the cheaper ones and open them up if needed

I'll be fitting 42mm OD RS carb spigots into manifolds designed for 40mm, so a new pliable set ought to work better than the five year old ones with BS34's on the bike now.

The GPZ1100 injection rubbers are the same size as the 'J's however the internal lip in the rubber that locates in the groove on the 'J' carbs is rounded in section like the earlier Z rubbers whereas the injectors have an angled groove and their rubbers location lip is triangular in profile to match..
Using the rubbers in the wrong application is no no unless you want to bodge it because as well as the difference in the shape of the lip they also sit at different distances from the face of the mounting flange so that GPZ 's internal lip won't line up with the 'J' carbs groove and vice versa.

 This is news, and its not good either. Hope I'll be able to cancel my 16065-1031 order now. I was just putting this to bed, and zed1015 just had to wake me up. :(

Update: Thanks zed1015. The cancellation of my purchase was accepted, and the guy didn't clobber me over it either.
