Cleaning Rubber ORings

Hi,
got a few rubber parts to try and clean. Main ones are the float bowl rubber orings that have some crud on them.Does anyone know a safe cleaner , Thankyou.

Is it like a dishwash detergent ?

Liquid dishwashing soap is typically safe for rubber.

Pinesol isn't good old pinesol any more --- as of 2013 it no longer has pine oil. The new stuff is nauseating --- it stinks (it doesn't have the same pine scent). The new container says original, but it isn't --- kinda deceptive. And it may be acidic.

Pine-O-Pine has ~30% pine oil & it should be good for cleaning metal parts.

Silicone spray: I use LiquidWrench silicone spray to clean rubber, plastic, metal, & chrome. It's a good solvent & doesn't harm anything.

Thanks Fellas - i reckon Pinesol here is called Pine o Clean but havnt got any at moment. Tried light dishwash detergent yesterday but didnt shift anything so have got some Silicone spray made by WD40 but it does state on can it is ok to use with rubber but not for prolonged exposure so should i just spray on and wipe off immediately ?
Dont want to stuff the float bowl orings as they are $20 each here - madness.

Thanks Plummen - my local Hardware has 125 ml bottles for @$8 - what do you pay for it there. (thats cheap anyway)
Any idea which group of rubbers/plastics float bowl orings and similar parts would fall into - maybe polypropylene - have read great for cleaning but once again avoid prolonged exposure as could make rubber stiff and crazed,
