Cracked my pump cover assembly. was created by DocWrath
Was putting my carb back together and I cracked the cover assy, pump (part number 14025-1139). I have been looking for it every where with no luck. So far my only options are buy a whole new carb with the part on it for around $100 or maybe something like J-B Weld. Does anyone have any experience with that stuff? Do you think it would work on this part? Plz help this is absolutely devastating for me. Tell me I'm not SOL

P.S. saw an old post for same problem and he found the part at adamsvintagemotorcycles.com but I tried there and they dont have it in stock.

I'm still dead in the water here. Does anyone know where I could get this part? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Another option could be to do away with the accelerator pump feature.

Here are some threads that might be of interest in that regard.

I really appreciate the help guys but I think lushbaugh has a part for me! If something else happens though its good to know that I will have a back up plan.

i have used JB weld inside a float boal. it does not hold up to gas for more than a season or 2.
i have had carb parts welded, but u need to find a guy that can do fine welding. these kind of guys work on molds for plastic injection molding factories.

Thanks for the input on the JB-Weld mark. That is something i definitely don't want to figure out on my own.

It looks like Lushbaugh couldn't find that part for me so I will have to get rid of the accelerator pump assembly. I'm going to be gone for the next 2 weeks doing a field training exercise so I wont be able to start that until then. I also ordered the dynojet stage 3 jet kit. So I got a lot of work ahead of me. I just cant wait to ride again!
