The big plan to balance the carbs didn't work out too well this weekend when I discovered that one of my float valves was defective (as I had suspected). This was one of the four new one's I had gotten from Z1 but I'm sure they'll help me get it resolved soon. But yes, I was using odorless mineral spirit and it worked really well.
