No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationNo eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationMake sure you soak those from the inside as well, turn the carb over, take out the Pilot jet, and spray inside the hole. Also where the mixture screw protrudes into the carb bore, spray there. So it will soak from both ends. Good Luck, and be patient.

I believe he is referring to "air screws" rear of carb bell.
I know K&L had them.

IIRC that model came with CV carbs and do have a pilot screw on the engine side of the carb up top.

Yeah they are the mixture screws at the top front (engine side) of the carbs, in USA they have blanking plugs over them.
If the attached pdf works its item 49.
Cheers for all the tips so far.....they are still stuck. Will keep at it.

Those K&L kits I posted are correct for your Keihin's. I'd get at least one kit coming, maybe all 4 if money isn't an issue for you. Not sure if you have a Distributor on you side of the Pond, but most of the sellers in the US will ship overseas.

Success....got them all out with no damage. filed down to remove the rough slot and recut with a hacksaw blade. made a new screwdriver to fit the new slot exactly and soaked again. Put screwdriver in, applied tightening pressure while tapping screwdriver with smaill hammer, when they moved applied more lube and gave loosening pressure while gently tapping the side of the body a couple of times and they gave way, all out in an hour, been trying for 7 days.
Also found a little crud inside the pilot jets when cleaning inside again, this was obstructing flow through the jet so maybe the idle problem will now be ok.......find out this weekend.
Thanks everyone for all the tips, a bit of everything did it.
