purchased the inexpensive non vaccum petcock and adapter plate for my 82 kz1000 works like a dream..nice part cant beat the price

un do the gas line with it in the off position and see if it has a tiny slow tear drop leak...some do.. i love those petcocks for the $ and they work fine...i spoke with Z1 ent about the reason i have ordered twice now a new rubber diaphragm ( 1.58) Rob said the suppliers had some quality control issues or something like that and the problem should be solved ,but if yours ever leaks ...call Z-1 ent and they will get you a better little rubber three hole shut off/on diaphragm

These are a new petcock for us. We stopped selling the ones with the occasional leaks.

We have some 22mm bung versions on order, but they are likely to be a month or more before we see those.

that is the one i purchased!!! it is wonderfull!!!!!!!!!!! if it wasnt for z1 enterprise i would be in bad shape!!!!!!!!!!!

and i also had to make no modifications to my tank to install it... JUST THROW THAT stock one away and get one!!!!!!

I got mione in the mail today. So simple,even I can do it.

Let them know at Z1 as they were having issues with one brand and changed to another, which one you have may be the older? I'd check with them, they may send you another.

Thats not a bad thing they are very good people I wish more company's were as good to deal with.
