Here is a 76. It has the vent hoses side by side on the filter cover. And it has KHI DGM 30386 S on the lid.

Looks like 77 or 78. It has the vent hose on top of each other. Or it only uses one vent.

Here is another pic.
Boy were they hard to take out. I remeber cutting 3 or 4 in half back in the day, just to get them out.

As above suggested, note the oem KZ900 side-by-side clips for vent hoses built into rear of filter cover.
The originally pictured air box looks very similar to a KZ900 air box, but appears to have a different arrangement on top of the filter cover (toward the front) for securing the vent hoses.

I do see differances between my airbox and other box
I will assume I have one from a 77- 78 I will go swap it out. Gives me another chance to go treasure hunting in the attic. The guy I got it from has 30+ years of kz parts up there.
thanks

Patton, where are those vent hoses coming from. The carbs, right??? What exactly do they vent?
I have 2 vent hoses that I THINK should be routed up that way. Instead they just kinda hang and end right about where the kick starter is.

Each carb float bowl is vented to outside air.
Left nipple vents #1 and #2 carbs.
Right nipple vents #3 and #4 carbs.
Float bowls are vented for the same reason the fuel tank is vented.
Here are some pics to show attachment nipples and oem hose routing.
Some folks route the two vent hoses to exit underneath the bike, along with the four overflow hoses.
There's a hole in the bike framework through which the vent hoses pass to get underneath the bike seat.

Am thinking same air box hoses for 26, 28 and 29.
