Ok, so after returning home, I have given this another shot.
#2 only will drip ever so slightly, (drop every 15-20 min) when in the on position.
When you switch to prime, it's like opening a tap on the #2 overflow.
All other carbs bone dry.
Anyone have some thoughts? Starting to get very fustrated!

I just got my petcock rebuild kit from z1enterprises.com They are priced fairly well. However from what I'm reading I only have a 75% chance of this fixing my problem. What I read is that if the metal in your petcock has been choking on rust of such you might never to get it to seal correcly and it's suggested that you buy a new petcock. I took mine apart and it seems in fairly good condition so I'm going for the rebuild kit.

I think you can compare the prices of the petcock rebuild kit and a Pingle On/Off/Res tap at Z1's website. I looked at those for my 650 project and have decided that for $5 more the Pingle is a pretty good deal.

What would be a good source for a rebuild kit for the vacuum petcock on the KZ, or a replacement one that will postively shut of the fuel?

19200, PLEASE start a new thread as the originator of this thread is trying to find answers to his questions. Thread hijacking is confusing and not helpful for either party. Thanks - wiredgeorge (moderator)

I appologize.
I had interperated the two subjects to be so closely related that similar solutions may have help both parties.
I will start a new topic for future information.
