I was handed a rack of RS36 Mikuni carbs last week so put them on my bike on Saturday.

The verdict is.....they work great with my engine combo B)

A careful carb snych took most of the clack out of them. Compared to the VM33's, they're an improvement. Good throttle response, very good idle......They're staying on for now...

Yea, I found out recently that those L/U cover spacers are tough to come by. Everyone makes the new style covers these days.

Larry - Glad to hear that the 36's are working well. I bet most people would have said those are too big for a 1200. I just got a set of 35mm CR's to try on my 1261. Your news is encouraging for me.

Normally I would have put 34RS or 33CRS on it. Still would like to put a rack of 33CRS Keihins on it.

I should get off my ass and put the fuel injection setup I have on it
