mikuni carb id

Good Day All,Inherited a 1977 KZ650B1.I was told the carbs had been changed but I can not be sure since I can not identify which ones they are.They are Mikuni and the only markings I can find on them is "S2" stamped near the bracket that holds the accelerator cables. Can anyone tell me how too identify them? Can anyone tell me if there is some place in the Akron/Canton area of Ohio I can go? Any and all help will be appreciated ... PEACE Larry

If got a 77 KZ650 B1 with stock 24s I cant tell what you have.:dry:

do they have the horizontal ribs cast intothe carb bodys?

Look for a number behind the choke lever on the flange.

Here's a picture of stock VM24SS carbs, used on most early 650s.
Some very early models came with VM22 carbs that look very similar.

the easist way is the carb tops also the sync adjusters are a dead giveaway as well

No sir they do not have any horizontal ribs.
