The 99101-393 look to be correct. They should be 8mm top to bottom. They will also come in the sizes you need...

Well, here goes nothing! Just picked up and installed #98's and reclipped my needles to groove 4..air screw is still at 1 1/4 turns. My ride home will be my test ride. I also picked up some 100's if the 98's are still a bit lean.

I ended up with the 100's in my carbs, needles 4th groove. Amazing the performance difference!! Thank you WG for your input to this subject.

I sent a set of 102s to a customer a few days ago and am awaiting some feedback. Glad the 100s did the trick. I suspect 102s will be fine as well. I will pass along the reclipping of the jet needle. It would have been better to have tried one thing at a time to assess the effect of the change rather than changes but if it runs nicely now, that is a GOOD thing!

Initially I tried the 98's with the needle at the third groove..not bad, but still had some hesitation. Installed the 100's with the needles in the third groove, improved, but still a tad of sputter around 1/4 throttle. Reclipped to the 4th as you had initially suggested, viola, no more sputter, excellent throttle response, and a set of plugs that burn very nicely. Using 102's with the needles in the third groove should work just fine though.
