Yep, that's why I ended up coating the inside of my tank. Got tired of plugging up filters and the carb's jets getting fouled.

My bike is a 83 KZ 750H (LTD) and this strange behavior happened minus the tank all together sooo... I will just have to do a little more research! Thanks for all the input though, its why I love this site!
