Well, quick if you have RTV. Good tip though. Maybe I can scare some up at the local shop. Thanks.

Get the gun metal gray... it'll look better when you decide to do the valves and struggle for several hours with the question to add some sealing compound or just go with the gasket:) You might want to preload that thread now to save you the time waiting for replies? <s>

Got some RTV (clear). will seal that sh/t up tomorrow and see how she runs.
Question: could this bike revving way up by itself problem have something to do with insufficient gas flow from the petcock?
i've noticed that there's not tons of gas flowing through the tubes when running, but maybe there only needs to be so much?
