Have you checked to see if your carb holders are letting air leak in? Try spraying carb cleaner around the holders at low idle to see if engine dies. If the holders are leaking, they will suck in the carb cleaner and stall the engine or make it run erratically. Ed
Well, as it turns out, that was the problem. The manifolds
looked fine (i.e. no cracks, etc), but were leaking around the back. Got some new ones and it idles very nicely. Just thought I'd check back in to let folks know and to say thanks.
