Contradictory

Anybody? Is removing and replacing the pilot jets as self explanatory as the main jets?

Which carbs do you have?
Find the diagrams.
All carbs are easy once you have an assembly diagram and a circuit diagram.

There should be no need to run different mains in the iner or outter like the carb guy said and you'll be fine. As for the pilots they should be in side the bowl and eaithe be the smallest flat head in there or in side a small hole. The # will be stamped on the side.
