You mean to tell me, you got away with only 1 spare set of plugs?
Do you know if it is possible to "clean" fouled plugs; or is it just too risky to try and use them after they foul, regardless of how long they were run?

Hold on a sec, guys. Unless the plug is damaged by heat (too hot a heat range, engine running lean, too much advance, etc) it's just dumb to throw away a plug. If it's because it's fouled, it is almost impossible for it to be heat-damaged. clean it up with a shot of carb cleaner, take some 220 grit sandpaper, fold it in half, and run it through the gap, and use it some more. Now, if you keep fouling plugs, you don't need new plugs, you need to figure out why it's fouling.

I never toss away fouled, but still perfectly useable spark plugs. I clean 'em up and keep them in the garage should I be hurried and need a quick plug swap before a ride.
Since there's no real storage space on my 650 to store a spare set of plugs, I swipped one of those little nail thingies that the wife uses on her talons (looks like a popsicle stick - one side is like medium grit sandpaper, the other side fine) and keep it in my bikes tool kit.
With that and a gap guage I don't worry about fouled plugs stranding me out in the middle of B.F.E., and it takes up no room at all compared to 4 extra spark plugs.
