That has to be a humbling experience when you show up with a wheelie bar on your bike and you get beat by a guy riding a stock length and height Z-1. Looks like the right lane is where it's at. The one time he ran from the left he had his hands full.

I was there in the late 70's and early 80's.
I started working the midnight shift when I was 18.
Our local track had Friday night drags. I drove to the track, took off the mirrors, put a piece of tape over the headlight (rules) made 4 time trials, ran as far into eliminations as I could.
Track closed at 11:00pm. I put mirrors on and drove to work and punched in by midnight.
Did that all summer long.
This was with a 76 KZ900 with a Kerker, lowered, with a Hog wheel. Ran 7:70's-7:90's With your eyes closed.
Thanks for the memories

Hes got an aluminum swingarm on it,other than that it sits like a 4x4 truck and hes still giving em hell!
Even with the 1st/2nd gear wheelies hes still leaving em all the way down the track! :woohoo:
Reminds me of my 1327 trying to flip over the 1st 100' of the 1/8 mile! B)
