Yup same thing here . A few years back there were some guys that wanted to put a drag strip in on the runway of our closed Navy base . All the residents showed up at the town meeting and complained it would be too much noise . Then they tried to get it in a few towns over same thing . People suck theses days.

They've got theirs, who cares about yours? There's supposed to be a new track E of Thermal. I'm told it's done now but you don't hear it advertized. There's nothing out there in that God forsaken waste land. :dry: They're putting in solar farms but we were told we won't be getting the power, it's going to AZ, NM and Mexico and here's the kicker, our power bill will go up 40% to pay for it. GD Liberals!

one at COTA when they built it.

Just a little use less information :laugh: ...........Back in the early 80s the Byron dragway in Illinois got rained out 7 Sundays in a row ....... I had a good friend that worked there (lived there in a trailer and watched the place too) and he told me the owner almost went bankrupt over it ..... they even came and re possessed his caddy for missing payments.

I went to 4 of the meets keeping thinking there is no way the weather man could be right but he was,

I'm not worryed about the rain out in fact it'll give me time to
do the clutch arm mod.and maybe get the air shifter in time.

That's the way to handle it. "When it rains lemons, make lemon aid."

hey dave, i seen on the news that the Austin area got hit hard .hope there is no flooding near you.

We're all good got lots of rain but we're not in a flood prone area.

Heres the f^^^ked up part of all this rain since I make a living repairing
lawn mower's this time last year we were worryed about no rain and nobody mowin
right now ain't nobody mowin because we've had too damn much rain too fast.

Makeup date will be June 7th.
I should have plenty of time to do the clutch mod.
but not the airshifter that will have to wait on the next bonus check.
