Okay I know this is Casey Forum I have a Casey 1100 G1 specter. And I just purchased an 83 GS 850g Suzuki now I need a gas tank if anybody has any ideas of where I can find one because I cannot find one. The tank I'm going to picture the guy quoted it and when I looked inside after I got it home I seen how Rusty the neck was, and realize he probably covered up a lot with that liquid lining. I apologize but I checked for all last night and all today I cannot find one now this is a 5.8 6.2 gallon Suzuki tank and it's sort of coughing shaped I'll give you a picture of that too if you can help me I really appreciate it and again I apologize but I'm at my end I posted in Suzuki forms I joined one and gotten no response.

The GS1100G fuel tank is the same, other than color.  There are several on eBay.  Needless to say, plan to derust when you get it.  And don't add a liner, they are more trouble than they are worth.

Thank you I needed to know that I'm searching 850 g only and I'm wondering if what else would work. Out of curiosity LOL you wouldn't know what model years are compatible with you. But if you don't don't worry about it I appreciate what you did for me already.

Suzuki revised the 850 in 1982, same year they launched the 1100G.  Both carried on for a few years afterwards.

You can look up the tank on www.partzilla.com ; they'll tell you if that part number was used on any other bikes.

The tanks were sold fully painted, so it's hard to cross-reference unless the same color scheme was shared across models.

If you follow the 850 part number through multiple supersessions it is then listed for the 1100 (I think on the original part number the last 2 digits identify the colour)
