KZ750E Parts needed

Ebay shipping from the US has just gone from bad to EVIL! Need to find parts elsewhere for my KZ750E restoration..

 P.O. put on an oil cooler so I'm taking it off.Need side oil port plug #92066-1394  and Rear crankcase nozzle (plug) #92062-014

a bunch of models have the same transmission cover and chain guide. kz550/650/750. probably that other stuff too. partzilla has a cross-reference. as does cmsnl.com Europe/UK. at cmsnl be sure to click z550 & z750 as welll as kz550 & kz750. there will be some models there not listed at partzilla.

I've been using the cross reference for years.
My local Kawi dealer had a really nice website and the part search automatically gave all applicable models......but they just closed shop this week and now the closest Dealer is a couple hundred km away.☹️
My mission cover appears ok but it is missing the chain guard and top tab to hold it on. (Which appears to be a common failure on these engines if the chain breaks.

I have a spare plastic chain guard for a 1980 KZ750E that you are welcome to.

That front sprocket chain guard is the same part number as all KZ/GPZ550's and all KZ650's.

Its common to find the top mount tab on the mission cover broken off from a chain break on 650/750 engines. Its easily fixed with a simple bent bracket that no one will see, you drill a bolt hole on the tab next to it as shown below.

 

 
 

Thanks for posting. The photos help too. I restored a KZ650C 2 years ago and it had the same issue. (Yes same part #) All the parts were there so I had it welded. When I do restorations I try hard to keep everything original. If I can find a good used (affordable) one, I will do that before a bracket repair but the repair you show is certainly in the cards. 👍
