Does anyone have a 17" or 18" rear solid wheel hanging in their shed they want to sell?!   I currently have a kz1000 / calfab swing arm close to stock.

Those ole heavy things, ha. I believe Marty in Buffalo,NY, Z1KZonly on here, might either have one or would know where to find one? He deals in and knows a lot of old drag racers that used them. Also a Friend in Topeka, KS Tom, might have some. Same story, knows a lot of drag fellas. Do you see a common theme here? Dragracers..

Oink Johnson on Ebay sometimes has them listed, PM or Center line etc. but he is very sporadic with his listings. Fall is his most active "parting out" season but you never know whats going to show up month to month. I was always checking on there for any low hanging fruit until recently.

One of my drag bikes has a solid type back wheel (unknown 6x18") you rarely see both wheels solid = deadly in cross winds. Most strips are way in the boonies between farmers fields.

Stay away from those Harley solid wheels because those are literally a TON :)

Ha, Noted - I have been avoiding all the old Harley ones,

Looking for an old PM in 17" - There is an 18" smoothie I have been following on Ebay but for tires, 17 I think will be better.

I just saw a 17” PM Chicane sell on FeeBay for less than $300 a week or so ago.

I did see these solid wheels but guessing not quite what you want to pay. Haha!

Yeah, I can say that Marty either has one, or had one, as I sold him a nice Performance Machine solid rear wheel a few years back. And, yeah, I'm one of those old drag racers that used it back in the day.  A sweet wheel, if you can find one...

Here is something I saw on Ebay. Not sure what year but it is a front wheel off a FLSTF Fatboy HD. 17" X 3.5" and they seem to be reasonable $$ Only no weight listed so don't know how heavy it is.

The solid side looks like it sticks past the rim edge so you could drill/tap holes to attach a drive sprocket.

Anything else solid for drag racing is going to be 5-6" wide and either 15" or 18". Seem to be more tires out there for 17" rims and there are a lot of these "take off" rims listed (upgrade to better rims)
