Case guards for a KZ1100 Shaft

I'm needing some case guards for my 1982 KZ 1100 Spectre.

Hi Dave,
I purchased them but no joy. Unless someone needs case guards for a KZ 1000 LTD I'll cut them up and repurpose them onto my Spectre. Turns out the Spectre frame has no connection point along the bottom frame tube. It's 1 1/4" in diameter. Hopefully I can invent a strap or U bolt connector that doesn't resemble a muffler clamp.

Nice research.
The threaded anchor, that you pointed to, exists on my Spectre for sure but I would rate it in the reflector mount category for strength.
I like that Case Guard drawing and sure enough it shows a U bolt. It's the set I need.

Later: the case guard drawing made me take another look and the U bolt is used on both sides. Also, the anchor you pointed out matches the guard, so it must be as intended.
