Yes a crazy price, it had a bid on it at $40k, but didn’t reach the reserve, whatever that may be.

It is a strong price but to be fair the currency differences make it look worse $40k NZD is $23.4k USD and £17.3k British pounds sterling

Yes, true Guy, the NZ dollar makes it sound really expensive. This bike also had Graeme Crosby (retired racer) go through it. He had a very successful business here rebuilding classic bikes to a very good specs, but fully retired from that the end of last year.
