I am surprised that site is still available. Years ago, I used to browse Craigslist religiously. 

Hopefully it's a real deal for someone? When a deal sounds too good often it comes with overwhelming consequences . I remember 30yrs ago a fella: was selling a couple Banshee 350's for 500bucks a piece. Still fairly new at the time. Same platform of Craigslist. He of course wanted me to come down to the "hood" to pick them up. I started asking questions he didn't like and conversation abruptly changed it's demeaner. I spent 20yrs rebuilding houses in the "enterprise zone" or hood as they call it. I know all the behaviors and antics of the academia folks that live there. Fortunate though, could of gotten shot/robbed for a measly grand. They kill each other down there just looking at each other seemingly wrong.   

I recently started using Craigslist again, there's a lot more spam nowadays but have been able to find some good deals (better than FB Marketplace).

People say this all the time, but I have two CL bookmarks set up and check them every day - not seeing any spam. Sometimes people don't know the difference between a mobility scooter and a Vespa-type scooter, but I think that's just people being dumb.

Since CL started charging sellers to post motorcycles for sale, the volunm of listings has gone down.The good side is that most listings are now for real.

That's helpful - thank you. I recall reading (a while back) that they were going to charge for car listings but didn't remember the motorcycle aspect.

I used a price range [in the bookmarks] for searching, and found that setting the minimum price to $50 got rid of a lot of junk

I look at CL every day and sell things on it regularly.

I look at FB maybe 1 time every two weeks. I did so after every single response to a marketplace ad was a scam. 100%
