Wiseco K1075 72mm 4052M07200 10.25cr

Since Daveo brought up piston woes and I'm in that mindset, i'll peddle these "almost" new 72mm Wiseco K1075 piston assemblies, again. No gaskets, just the pistons/rings/pins and circlips. Good stuff barely used in misapplication from a "shop" that tried to use them in a 1982 J engine..go figure how that wouldn't be immediately relevant because of the lower "obvious"        piston top to deck height, ha. Anyway..they tried to get it to running and failed. So i acquired the engine and put the correct "J" pistons in it, these are the pull-outs. All just fine, just take your 1977-1980 cylinder/liners to a proficient machine shop to turn your 70mm stock bore to 72mm with a bump in compression vs stock. By far the most popular upgrade piston set used while still maintaining reliability. 450.00USD shipped to the 48. Questions/concerns PM or call 816-365-8687 Clay

Nice looking pistons, and thanks for responding to my engine post with thoughtful comment!

Speaking of "winterizing". We have 3 separate forced air heaters to keep this castle warm. Went to start one up and no-go. Furnace Control Board received a surge when we had a bolt of lightening strike a couple months ago hit a tree 100 foot away from the house but right on top of the power line. A new White-Rodgers (Emerson) board and i too can stare out the window sf4t7, in comfort though ha.

These pistons, combined with a mildly ported head, mild cams and small(ish) carbs, would make for a sweet running street motor - or race motor, for that matter.  More than enough reliable power for 99.9% of the time, IMHO.

And, for the lucky buyer of these pistons, I'd go the additional mile and gently radius the valve pockets and polish the domes.  Doesn't cost you anything and your motor will thank you.
