I always preferred the twin shocker GPZ750 - I could never find one still I started building my own in a modified 650 frame. Then of course I was basically given one which I passed on to my neighbor for a good project...
You know what they say...1st ones free. Now he is Hooked on that GPZ

20 hrs left and $850 for the top bid.. This will be interesting!

Yeah, I picked up mine, running, for $600.00. Of course, by the time I finish resurrecting it, I'll have much more in it and certainly more than it is worth.

That is the way it goes, if I factored $60ph into my build a Sanctuary bike would probably have been cheaper

Sold for $3250.  Edit: didn't meet reserve.

That price seems about right to me.  The bike was decent, but far from pristine.

They are great to ride too!

The '82 GPz750 is very similar to the L series 750's.  Nice improvements over the earlier bikes, like mine, include a rubber mounted engine, bigger gas tank, rearset pegs, an oil cooler, and more power.  I retrofit the pegs, shifter, and oil cooler onto my earlier bike, and everything fit.

That's what I thought   However, the R1 case crash guards do not fit on the L series.

I've always like the GPzs.
The '82 GPz750 being one of my favourites.
A friend owns one, and I had been bugging him for years to buy it.
Then I bought the '83 1000R.
May still have room for the 750 though.

One I saw a few years ago.
