A friend's KZ1000 shaft up for sale

A friend of mine wants to sell his 1979 KZ1000 shaft.  42K miles, rode it every year until last season.  Aftermarket fairing, 4 into 1 exhaust, and includes original headlight parts and original exhaust.  I think he's the original owner.  Located in central Massachusetts.  If you're interested let me know and I can get you in touch with him.

Nice stout bike!

The 85mph speedo law didn't start until 1980.  Did Kawasaki start early?

It could be a 1980, he told me 1979 - maybe he was going by the build date on the stem label.

Don't forget the mid year model change, July 79 onwards would be an 80 model year
