Got a whole gaggle of metal stuff i'm going to send out the middle of next week for a fresh "greenish" chromate re-plating. You're all familiar with that color, used on these, carb clamps and in this case for the KZ900 Hazard switch retaining bracket. But happened to have 4 sets of those Holders and Bolts (pins) replated clear Zinc years ago. I'm not a chemist but thinking this is the initial base coating before the final green is applied?? Anyway..if One isn't after the original color and a fully functional non-rusty mess this might be beneficial. These are the knurled plate style used on the Single disc, double discs generally used a smooth plate. Although they shared the same part number 43044-008. A set of bolts 43045-006 also replated. So two bolts and the Holder for 35.00 shipped to the 48 states. Total of 2 sets available. And because i don't want to see this site to have to go on foodstamps, all proceeds funnel to whoever tends the cashdrawer here. Clay

I've never seen that pebbled finish, nor have I seen them chromed or even in carb clamp green.  I've tried to do the carb clamp green at home and failed miserably on both old and new clamps.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

You've never seen the "pebbled" holder?? That's interesting? Used predominately on the A model KZ900-1000 hard lined single caliper, have for years. These are not chromed, plated clear Zinc only because i have pounds and pounds of stuff replated, just thru these in the box after prepping with other stuff years ago. I send them to a gent in Tennessee.

Never called it a greenish finish. I assume it was black, but there is an iridescence to them.

Wookie excuse my ignorance of computer stuff! If Matt wants a set just have him figure out how to pay Your register on his end. And Matt ole buddy, have some LONG missing bits for You. I'll include with the holder. Have been trying to get of ahold of you for a while but had lost your number when my old phone died and lost all the information contained. Soo..what you had sent quite a while ago has just become better. Some extra stuff. I believe the mileage isn't as you'd hoped but..

My 1980 LTD doesn't have the pebbled finish.  I wonder why they did that?

Don't really know? But since you have a duel disc they would of been smooth. Have restored a couple1976 LTD900B's and KH500's and they were smooth as well.
