Z1E-082237 is a late 75 z1 engine
This sad fate befell some CB750's, for some reason Z1's fared better, I've never seen one in person (thankfully).

Looks like there is more travel in the rear spring assembly then there is clearance form rear tire to fender.

And if the front shocks are compressed it looks like the exhaust would hit/spark pavement
No need for front brakes if you don't have a chain to engage the rear wheel either!

I like some of the "plunger frames" done by AMEN SAVIOUR. This one looks mechanically off,and not there make. The front wheel was called a Chopper Stopper, it was made to hold your bike on a hill with a  hand shift/foot clutch set up not to stop anything in motion. it uses the same brake pads as the early/small dirt bike drums. Its friction by way of a cam, but with cable stretch you don't get much force.Im a bastard chop guy and that has to be a rush to ride, because you know DEATH is imminent on that thing.    Again, I find abused projects and rework them, I restore quite a bit in my profession, and respect original.I see A lot of folks deeply regretting the "Cafe" phase that there 40 year old unmolested bike went through in the 2000 era.Just like an original Pan or knucklehead is worth quadruple a chopper with the same engine.

It's about as good a job as I've seen, although I was never a fan of chopping a bike with an inline 4 engine.  I think they all look strange.  And what's with those slack adjusters??
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

It was probably cool back in the day, but seems like a shame now. A late Z1-B engine would be good to have for a project, but not for $7500.

Z1E-082237 is a late 75 z1 engine

I wonder if the person who built this ever got to ride it after doing all that chopping.  It doesn't look finished.  Wires and cables sticking out all over, and no drive chain.

Choppers look funny with in-line 4s.  The narrow vertical twin (CB, KZ, Triumph) seems to fit better with the extra long skinny chopper look.

My stepfather had a Triumph Bonneville based hardtail chopper in the early 70s.  Big stepped seat and springer font end.  Really cool airbrush work on tank.  The real deal.  It sat in the garage until at least the late 90s, maybe later.  I never heard it run even once.  Seems like he probably sold it just before they started to get popular again.

I prefer a hardtail over an amen savior/ DIY set up that is going on here. But I bet its a blast, sketchy kinda fun. Wouldnt take much to bring this back to life . I ride one, a hardtail with a 750 in it, and its quick and comfortable to ride.
