Today 20:08An analog VOM. DMM's are convenient but, being able to observe instantaneous needle deflections that can't be resolved by a DMM display can ease electrical troubleshooting.
If I may clarify slightly
VOM = Volt Ohm Meter
DMM = Digital Multi Meter
