Carb Stand for (easier) fuel-level measuring and gauging...
10 Jan 2025 07:56
Years ago, i´ve build me a carb-stand, cause it was a little easier to check fuel level in the bowls with carb on the workbench,...later ones, i had given them a little mare space under the bowls, but all at all, i´ve found them very practicable,...and so i´ve build me uo another one this last weeks for my return to Kawasaki´s wrenching

I have been using a piece of plywood for years that has 650 and 900 manifolds bolted to it. Just chuck it in a vice.
Since I saw your stand I am planning on adding some mount holes to hold the manifolds on this fixture I made.
Its a fixture to mount heads to drill exhaust studs, its leaned back at a 10 degree angle, the same angle the carbs sit at on all KZ air cooled fours.

That´s the right way, ...you can bolt on the 2 feet under the plate opposite to carbs with higher spacers, ore longer bolts, to leveling up by unscrewing the footmounts a little...
