Engine Stand / Cradle

Does anybody make an engine cradle / stand for a Kawasaki motor?
I'm including a pic of an engine cradle for a V-8 chevrolet as an example of what I am looking for but for a 4 cylinder motorcycle motor.

I have been looking at one of these (don't need it yet) it says 75kg but there is feedback from guys with Honda 750/4 etc that are using them. Rotates through 360 degree's so would be useful for strip/rebuild

K&L makes a nice motorcycle specifispecific stand.

I have a kz1000 engine on this stand right now.  It seems very stable.

I have the K&L. found it on Craigslist/Marketplace for $40.00

I also have this. Haven’t used it yet, but nice quality. Evilbay item number 255464679797

These cheapy HF are great, the engines sit nicely on them and make moving them around super easy.

If you have a car motor engine stand  a simple adapter can be made to fit it.
Couple shots of my stand and some of my buds

I don't see him around, but yeah, try give a Hardgun a PM. He made me one and it's very nice. I'm pretty sure he can customize it for you, according to your need. I bought it from him few years back. Compare to what I had to pay for K & L stand, price was very reasonable, and it's well made. I can take pictures if you guys like, but I need to find all that parts as he made me a stand that will come apart. He made it that way for me so he can ship it to here.

Won't hurt to contact him.

We bought one of Hardgun's stands.
It's a fine stand for the hobbyist like us, can be configured to fit many different motors.  It will allow a motor to rotate 360 deg. for easy access to the top and bottom of a motor.

Plenty strong enough for a complete Z1 bottom end sans jugs & head.  Very likely strong enough and tall enough for a complete Z1 motor, although we've never had a complete motor in ours.  We've only used it on Z1 motors.

Very good welds. The only change we'd ask for is for the various threaded fasteners on the stand to be metric, to eliminate the need to dig out SAE wrenchesfor the stand's fasteners.

Note that as pictured it's a stationary tabletop stand, not a rollaround floor stand.  That is OK with us, as we have a workbench in the shop we can dedicate to motor building.  Since Hardgun hand builds each stand, he can make whatever changes to construction the buyer might desire.

The stand breaks down for storage into a reasonably compact assemblage of parts.

We would buy again.
