Hey again people! I'd just like ya'll to have a look at these pics and tell me which tools are correct for a 1000st, and which aren't ! From the left are three types of 22 and a 27, at the bottom is a 14+17 and 10+12 but they don't have the big K stamped on them so I'm sure they belong to a more modern kawasaki, I've got a few types of spark plug sockets and screwdrivers ,two sizes of pliers and a reproduction 014 and 035 feeler gauge plus not pictured is an old but good condition black vinyl kawasaki tool pouch with white popper,
So guys what is correct and what is missing?! Many thanks
Luke :)

Do you have owners manual ?
Match your tools to photo in manual.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationAre you looking for just the correct sizes or also the correct style?
AFAIK, vintage KZ wrenches came in at least 4-5 styles.
Here's a seller who outlines some of the differences. at least one style is missing, though.

Thanks Martin csr :) yes I'm not too worried about the style just the completeness of the kit, like should I have a 14+17 , a 13+12 , a 22 ring spanner, a 27? Any Allen keys?
73Z1 bought up a good point, I haven't even thought about the factory manual! And I've got one in my garage ,having said that my garage is 20 miles away and I probably won't go there until next Saturday! :side:

Using Partzilla & EB, you might be able to figure out most of them.
From the owner tools parts list for the 79 KZ1000E:
8-10 open end. 12-13 open end. 14-17 open end (probably).
21mm box wrench = spark plug wrench. plus Bar for spark plug wrench.
Pliers. Hook wrench, probably for the shock absorbers.
Screwdriver grip + 3 drivers >> flathead, #1 or #2 phillips, #3 phillips.
(note: the diagrams say phillips but they're probably JIS).

Unknown sizes: allen wrench & 2 box wrenches.
One box wrench is probably a 27mm for the rear axle. The other could be a 22 or 24. probably for the front axle nut. guessing.

Thanks Martin csr :) kawasaki certainly provided a thorough tool kit in the past! I'll have to investigate a bit more but I think aside from Allen keys I probably have the rest! :cheer: :cheer:
