What the heck are these socket things?!

Hey everyone, I just picked these up in a box full of shims and all sorts, all they have is a number and usa on each one, inside each one is simply a thin bit of steel! What are they for?!!

Looks like sockets for the valve clearence adjustment screws on the rocker arms.

Ahhhh now that would make sense because the box these were in contains mainly oem valve shim stuff! :cheer: thanks :)

Tap sockets. Square drive inside for tapping holes with 3/8 rachet. I have a similar set with an internal oring.
