Z1000st tool kit was created by Sheath
Hey everyone! I've finally got hold of a used tool kit for my 1980 kz1000st and I'm pretty certain there are one or two bits missing but I have no idea what might be missing! If anyone has a picture of all the kz1000st tools that would be great , then I can search for the missing bits! Thanks

Partzilla has a list of all the tools. You have to click on the part number to see a picture.

Thank you I'll do that I've just got the tool bag out of my car and had a look ,I think I've lucked out! There seems to be one kind of rusty kawasaki spanner, some un named pliers and the rest is HM luckily though they were very cheap and having some tools on the bike is better than none I guess! But it looks like I need to find many more kawasaki tools!

Some of the diagrams drawings for the 1000E shaft are missing, including the diagram for the tools, but some of the sizes are shown in the parts list. Partzilla doesn't have a pic of most tools.
Typical sizes are: 8-10. 12-13. 14-17. 19. 21. 22. 27mm. and the larger sizes would be for the Fr & Rr axles & fork caps. maybe something for the shaft drive. and also a shock or hook wrench which I've seen in a couple of sizes.

That's cool thanks I should be able to make up a full kit, funny enough the sump plug is a 27mm! I couldn't believe the first time I changed the oil, the sump plug on my vw jetta is only 19mm!
