Anyone have advice on a manual valve compressor that works well for these heads?

Valve Spring Compressor Tool
Z1E might have them as well. I didn't look.
I picked on of these up a few years ago for ATV heads and it works great on KZ heads too. Better in fact than my OEM Kawasaki Valve Spring Compressor tool

Mainly, the adapters that come with them. The kit I pointed the link to has adapters for pain in the ass heads like Honda 250 ATV's. It's a heck of a deal for the price and works on a pretty wide variety of cylinder heads.
I have a Kawasaki factory tool as well and the one from that kit works even better than it...

I have used the the c clamp type shown above with a cut out bucket for years . Works great.
