To protect the enviroment in which we al live,Kawasaki has incorporated two emission control systems in compliance with the applicable regulations of United States Enviromental Protection Agency.

Well, I could sure use 1 or 2 shop manual's !
Anyone care to make life a bit easy for me and let me know
which is the best to get?
1st bike is a 1980 LTD1000
2nd bike is a 1981 CSR1000
It's my understanding there are different one's ?
I know these bikes are different so I may need 1 of each..
Best place to get them would be nice to know ;)
And by all means I'd rather spend a little more for the better!
Thanks, Gene

Yep!
Ask a question about a 750 four, and someone will give you an answer to a 1000 four.

To answer your questions Gene:

There are two (perhaps three) manuals you need. The best are the OEM shop manuals. Your CSR is from the next generation of Kawasaki motors (the so-called 'J' motors), hence the change in manuals.

For the KZ1000B4, your 1980 LTD, purchase the OEM manual Kawasaki part number 99924-1006-05. This is the base manual. Your LTD also has a supplemental manual specifically covering all those little things peculiar to the LTD...Kawasaki part number 99963-0034-01.

For the KZ1000M1, your CSR1000, purchase the OEM manual Kawasaki part number 99924-1026-01, or -02, or -03. Those last three digits are edition numbers.

As for where to purchase...eBay will have them, usually for a very reasonable price....don't pay a lot for them (some sellers will offer them for $60 or so)...others will be considerably less expensive...watch shipping costs...except for the supplement, the manuals are heavy and some sellers tend to overcharge for shipping.
