I was taking the clutch out of my old spare motor and had a question about it, so I went to buykawasaki.com to find the answer.
While looking at the diagrams, I noticed that the clutch basket seems to ride on a bushing and washer, which fits over the transmission input shaft. Is this true?
The reason I ask is that most of my experience is with big Suzuki's and they always have a clutch bushing and a caged needle bearing that rides between the clutch bushing and the inner race of the clutch basket.
Who does Kawasaki not use a large needle bearing? This is for an '82 KZ1000 LTD J motor.
thanks
