Oil drain nut

I havent started on my 78 KZ1000 A1 yet but I have a 82 KZ1100 parts bike and having problem with the oil plug is it stuck or is it a revers thred that loosens clock wise?
78 KZ1000 work in progress in Hacienda Heights California and a 82 KZ1100 Spectra And a 1992 ZX11.

Not reversed. Sound stuck...apply heat!

And Wagonmaster...The "78" KZ1000 is the A-2 model,btw,Bud...just thought You should know that.
The "77" is the A-1 model.B)

(or maybe it was just a typo)

It took me two hours and a pipe wrench last time to get miine out. Good thing I got a new one from Jeff before I started!

shock - hit the threaded fastener with hammer and drift.

that is the secret to releasing steel and aluminium or alum.-alum. threads from each other.

be careful, it takes a bit of experience to know how hard to hit the stuck bolt.

heat works better on steel to steel, and is a second choice when working with non ferris materials.

Just get a breaker bar, make sure you are going in the right direction. Use the breaker bar for more leverage, If you try knocking it you might knock your eye out, thats if you dont have experience like maself
