how to sell an engine?

I've got a KZ1000J motor that's missing a head, but the rest is in good shape. What's the best way to sell this beast?

I'm thinking it's to pull it all apart and part it out here and on sleaze bay... any thoughts on this?

Are the cases worth anything?

Selling complete will force either a local sale, or truck freight (read expensive).

The head is the most sought after part of the engine, so generally the rest of the engine is fairly low value. Selling in pieces will probably fetch the most money.

The cases are not a big seller - they would have to be very clean to attach any bidding.

Sell to me for next to nothing (Canadian currency too). Please pay shipping cost as well. Thanks a bunch much appreciated.

I could use the ignition cover...

Duck,

Do you mean the part that goes on the engine cases and seals the end of the crankshaft or the outer cover that goes on with two screws? I think I've got at least 1 of each.
