zn 700 head on a 650?

i know you can do the mod on a 1000 j-head to work on a earlier kz1000. is it possible to do the same on a 650? i got a chance to buy a zn700 motor and want to put the jugs and head from that motor on my 77 650.i would use the whole motor but it is a shaft. am i crary to even try this or is it fiesable? i think the only difference is the cam chain. is it a cheap-easy upgrade or will it be less of a headache to just go with a ported 650 head and the 810 kit?.

I think it would probably work if you use the crank also. Your 650 uses a roller cam chain and the 700 uses a HyVo cam chain, and I don't believe the 700 jug has the provision for the roller cam chain parts.
