78 Z1R, kerker headers, cone air filters, jetted the rest is stock.
From 4300 rpm to 5000rpm it hesitates if I keep it at that engine speed. After that it climbs smoothly up to redline and before that it runs smooth also. When accelerating through that range smooth also. What can I do?

Midrange lean-ness(sp?), try pulling the needles up one clip. Could be as easy as that:laugh: but usually NOT for me:evil:

Did you do some mods that caused this or did it just start?are you going to wot when this happens or just rolling on the throttle?
