Okay i have a set of 750 pistons and jugs, but i have found out that 82 kz jugs dont work on 1978 kz650b motors. So i was wondering if i could either bore out my 650 cylinders and use the 750 pistons. Or take the sleeves out of the 750 jugs and put them in the 650 jugs? Any suggestions or possible things that can go wrong? Or is this just too expensive to do.

Hey odl666 - I believe the biggest you can go with the 650 cylinders it the Wiseco 700 kit. There was another 720 made at one time but don't know if they are still available.

It might be a lot of hassle and cash to press the old 650 cylinders out of the '78 B motor, bore them out then pressing in the 750 cylinders and sliding in the 750 pistons. Would probably be easier to find a running 750 motor and just drop it into the frame. If it is a 1980 model you could also swap complete top ends.

Whoops...Double post. A "flood protection message" came up when I first posted. Never saw that before. Hit the submit again and here is the second message. If you are not too sharp tonight you might want to read it again but it is the same as the first:)

If you look in the 810 thread, I linked to another thread where we discussed this very subject. Take a look at it.

Thanks guys, i guess looking for the cheapest way doesnt work. I have a 1982 motor i beleive sao i might just have to drop that bad boy in, but i would have to completely go through it and i wasnt wanting to. THanks again

since you are (possibly) in the process of resleeving, get the bigger ones from LA Sleeve and get the 880 kit:evil: details in the gpz mod FAQ
or, maybe Lorcan will jump in here and give details on a cheaper(?) option, I think He said you can use the 1100 sleeves for something similar...
